Cancellation Policy

All cancellation requests must be made in writing to AusBiotech at [email protected]

1. Cancellations made before Friday 15 July 2016 will receive a refund, less a $250 administration fee.
   
2. Cancellations made after Friday 15 July 2016 will not receive a refund.
   
3. No refunds will be issued until after the conference.
   
4. Substituting names will be accepted only prior to the conference. Registration is valid for the named attendee only.  Transferring of registration during the conference is prohibited and security personnel will be checking every registration on entry/exit to the venue. Substituting a delegate from the same organisation is welcome as long as AusBiotech is notified by email [email protected] by Monday 10 Ocotber 2016.

 

Other Information including Privacy

1. Payment of registration fees must be made on-line via the 'Register Here' link.  Payment can be made via Visa, Mastercard and Amex.  A 3% credit card surcharge will apply to all Amex payments.  All payments must be made in Australian dollars (AUD).  All pricing is inclusive of Australian Goods & Services Tax (GST 10%) and is subject to change without notice.

Conference registrations may not be utilised by several individuals, even if from the same organisation. Group registration discounts and 1-day registration options are provided for this purpose.

   
3. An individual wishing to attend under a corporate membership must be a current employee of their organisation and listed within the corporate membership as a corporate nominee.  If your membership is not valid for 2016, your registration will automatically revert to a non-member registration rate.  If you would like to renew your membership or become a member of AusBiotech, please contact Tanya Daw [email protected]
   
4. To qualify for a student discounted registration, you must have a current tertiay ID, not be working full-time and select the correct student registration type (member of non-member).  Your student ID must be brought with you to the conference for verification at registration.  Only eligible students will receive the student registration rates once identification has been confirmed.
   
5. To qualify for an academic discounted registration, you must have current ID showing you are an eligible academic (full time lecturer of an accredited institution or university) and select the academic registration type.  Your ID must be brought to the conference for verification.  Only eligible full time faculty members of accredited institutions or universities will receive the academic registration rate once identification has been confirmed.  If your academic ID is not current at the time of the conference, then you will be charged the difference to upgrade to a full conference registration or you will forfeit your registration.
   
6. To qualify for the developing country discounted registration, your country of residence must be on the list of developing countries.  Your ID must be brought to the conference for verification, if your ID cannot verify your country of residence, then you will be charged the difference to upgrade to a full conference registration or you will forfeit your registration.
   
7. AusBiotech Ltd cannot accept any liability for death, injury, any loss, cost or expense suffered by any person (including accompanying persons, partner or attendant caregivers), if such a loss is caused or results from the act default or omission of any person other than an employee or agent of AusBiotech Ltd.  In particular, AusBiotech Ltd cannot accept liability for losses arising from the provision or non-provision of services provided by hotel companies or transport operators.  Nor can AusBiotech Ltd accept liability for losses suffered by technical, mechanical or electrical breakdown within any premises visited by delegates and/or partners in connection with the AusBiotech 2014 national conference.
